Course Description
The Augmented Psychotherapy Training (APT) is a comprehensive, two-year program that prepares aspiring therapists to practice psychedelic-augmented psychotherapy and psychedelic integration therapy in a legal, safe, and evidence-based framework.
The program follows a hybrid learning model with four on-site trainings in Berlin, Germany and weekly online sessions. Upon completion of the first year, participants receive a Certificate in Psychedelic Integration Therapy/Coaching, and after the second year, a Certificate in Psychedelic-Augmented Psychotherapy as a therapist or co-therapist.
The program aligns with 13 APT Outcomes, including understanding the scientific and philosophical basis of psychedelics, preparing patients for psychedelic experiences, supporting integration, and complying with legal requirements. The course focuses on outcome-based education and equips participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide effective and safe psychedelic therapy.
The course consists of 6 modules and includes an experiential module (ketamine, possibly psilocybin later). The two-year courses start each year in November (English-speaking group) and March (German-speaking group). The course aims to offer 50+ CE/CME credits per year (pending).
The next English-language course starts on November 29, 2023, and the next German-language course begins on March 08, 2023.
