VETS

Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions (VETS) is a non-profit organization fervently committed to tackling the veteran suicide epidemic by advocating for and facilitating access to psychedelic-assisted therapies. The organization is built on a foundation of six core values: Leadership, Resolve, Impact, Service, Compassion, and Trust, which guide its operations and interventions. VETS operates under three pillars: Resources, Research, and Advocacy. Through its Foundational Healing Grants, the organization provides financial support, coaching, and additional resources to veterans seeking psychedelic-assisted therapies for conditions such as traumatic brain injury (TBI), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and addiction. VETS also embarks on rigorous scientific research to delve into the benefits and risks of psychedelics in treating veteran-centric health conditions, and through advocacy, works tirelessly to diminish the stigmas associated with mental health and psychedelic therapies.

The inception of VETS is rooted in personal struggle and subsequent healing. Co-founders Marcus and Amber Capone embarked on this mission following Marcus' successful treatment with psychedelic therapies post his challenging period as a U.S. Navy SEAL. Since 2019, VETS has been a beacon of hope for many U.S. Special Forces veterans, providing them with grants to receive psychedelic-assisted therapy treatment abroad, coupled with comprehensive preparation and integration coaching. Through a robust coaching program and a holistic treatment approach, VETS envisages a healthcare landscape where veterans have access to advanced, effective treatments to heal from the mental and physical wounds of war. Their dedicated team, advisory board, and network of partners collaborate to create a foundation for healing, aiming to significantly impact the lives of veterans and contribute to their overall well-being.
