The TRIP Protocol Foundations is a self-paced and asynchronous online course that explores the TRIP Protocol, an evidence-based method for delivering psychedelic-enhanced psychotherapy (PEP).

This course is tailored for healthcare professionals working within the mental health space who are interested in the reemerging study of the benefits of psychedelics for health. Learners will delve into the history and principles of PEP, neuroplasticity, and a complete review of the TRIP Protocol, emphasizing the vital role of analytics and integration work in therapeutic outcomes.

The course is divided into modules containing specific learning objectives, discussion and reflection prompts, activities, and resources. Beginning with a course orientation and handbook, the course progresses to modules exploring the psychedelic renaissance, the brain’s pharmacology and consciousness, and the various stages of the TRIP Protocol including assessment, planning, PEP sessions, analysis, and integration.

About Instructor

Tatayo (“Fruit of the Wind”) first arrived in Gabon in 1971 at the age of 21 and became a Gabonese citizen. In 1979, he became the first white person to be initiated into the Bwiti Fang tradition in Gabon. In 1994, he was initiated into the Misokko tradition. As a guide for numerous expeditions and missions, including those of National Geographic, the BBC, and others, Tatayo is considered to have “opened the door” to westerners in Gabon.
