Drawing from over 36 years of MAPS experience, this course offers a series of short, easy-to-follow lessons that answer common questions such as: How do psychedelics work? What are they used to treat? Are they safe to use? Which drugs are considered psychedelics? Are they legal? What is microdosing?

Within a few hours, students will understand the most exciting and essential aspects of psychedelics. This course is an ideal starting point for those considering psychedelic use, seeking information to support a loved one, or simply curious about these substances' mechanisms and potential benefits.

About Instructor

Tatayo (“Fruit of the Wind”) first arrived in Gabon in 1971 at the age of 21 and became a Gabonese citizen. In 1979, he became the first white person to be initiated into the Bwiti Fang tradition in Gabon. In 1994, he was initiated into the Misokko tradition. As a guide for numerous expeditions and missions, including those of National Geographic, the BBC, and others, Tatayo is considered to have “opened the door” to westerners in Gabon.
