Course Description
The course “Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy and ACT: Discovering the Universals in Psychological Healing” serves as a nexus between two transformative approaches to mental health: psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
This 4-part live online conference explores the synergies between these modalities, addressing various questions that have emerged due to their overlapping therapeutic outcomes. Moderated by Dr. Ronald Siegel, an expert in psychology and psychedelics, the course features a panel of distinguished experts in ACT and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Each session offers a deep dive into the common elements across various psychological disorders, the evidence supporting the efficacy of both approaches, and the role of transpersonal experiences in therapy.
The course is designed to be interactive, providing ample opportunities for attendees to engage with the panellists and contribute their insights and questions. The goal is to equip practitioners with practical tools and techniques that can be applied to various disorders. By the end of the course, attendees will gain a nuanced understanding of the universal principles in psychological healing and how they can be integrated into their practice. Whether a clinician is considering incorporating psychedelic-assisted therapy or looking to deepen their understanding of ACT, this course provides a comprehensive guide to the cutting-edge intersections between these two fields.
