Navigating Scope of Practice for Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is designed for mental health professionals interested in learning about the latest developments in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and its scope of practice.

The course will bring together industry leaders, including Fluence, Journey Clinical, Bruce Hillowe, and the Psychedelic Coalition for Health, for a roundtable discussion on the topic. Participants will gain a better understanding of the use of ketamine as an adjunct to psychotherapy, the eligibility criteria for patients, and the role of a licensed mental health professional in KAP.

The course will also provide insights into the challenges faced by all stakeholders, including insurance providers and patients, in navigating the scope of practice for KAP. By the end of the course, participants will have a clearer understanding of the current state of KAP and its future potential as a therapeutic modality.

About Instructor

Tatayo (“Fruit of the Wind”) first arrived in Gabon in 1971 at the age of 21 and became a Gabonese citizen. In 1979, he became the first white person to be initiated into the Bwiti Fang tradition in Gabon. In 1994, he was initiated into the Misokko tradition. As a guide for numerous expeditions and missions, including those of National Geographic, the BBC, and others, Tatayo is considered to have “opened the door” to westerners in Gabon.
