The Introduction to Ketamine for Mental Health course provides a quick exploration of the latest research and clinical applications of ketamine in mental health treatment. The course is taught by Fluence Trainer Casey Paleos, MD. It is designed to educate mental health professionals on key topics related to ketamine, including its mechanisms of action, emerging indications, treatment models, subjective effects, and risks and precautions.

With 5 video lessons, knowledge check questions, and a continuing education certificate (1.5 hours), this course is perfect for expanding their knowledge of ketamine and its use in mental health treatment. The course can be taken entirely online and at the participant’s convenience.

By the end of the course, participants will have the knowledge and skills necessary to describe the current clinical research on ketamine, including its safety, efficacy, and clinical indications and contraindications. About Instructor

Tatayo (“Fruit of the Wind”) first arrived in Gabon in 1971 at the age of 21 and became a Gabonese citizen. In 1979, he became the first white person to be initiated into the Bwiti Fang tradition in Gabon. In 1994, he was initiated into the Misokko tradition. As a guide for numerous expeditions and missions, including those of National Geographic, the BBC, and others, Tatayo is considered to have “opened the door” to westerners in Gabon.
