Experiential Training Institute

Experiential Training Institute (ETI) is an experiential education company founded in 2022 by Jeanine Souren and Hans van Wechem, mental health professionals with extensive experience in the field of psychedelics. Based in Amsterdam, the company offers training programs for mental health providers in psychedelic treatments, aimed at promoting safe and effective practices in this emerging field.

ETI's approach involves experiential learning, where mental health providers can experience both the role of the facilitator and the client, and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of screening, preparation, and integration in psychedelic treatments. The company also offers individual and group retreat programs for personal growth and development, leveraging their understanding of the science, history, philosophy, psychology, psychiatry, and sacred wisdom linked with psychedelic work.

Jeanine and Hans bring their expertise and unique perspectives to ETI, having worked together as Medical Director and Head Therapist, respectively, at Field Trip Health in Amsterdam, where they safely guided hundreds of clients through their truffle therapy sessions. Hans has over 30 years of experience in the psychiatric field and is a certified bonding psychotherapist, teaching fellow, and systemic psychotherapist. Jeanine is a clinical psychologist and sexologist with specialties in couples and families, and an accredited psychedelic assisted psychotherapist.

ETI's training and retreat programs have received high praise from mental health providers who have participated, with many highlighting the profound personal and professional growth they experienced. ETI is committed to promoting safe and responsible use of psychedelics and providing mental health providers with the tools and knowledge necessary to incorporate these treatments into their practice.
