Course Description

The DMTx Psychonaut Training Webinar is an introductory course for anyone interested in becoming a DMTx psychonaut volunteer in the Medicinal Mindfulness Extended-State Research and Exploration Program.

Led by Daniel McQueen, MA, Medicinal Mindfulness lead facilitator, this webinar will cover topics such as mindfulness practices for resilience and the use of cannabis for journeywork and navigational skill development. Participants will also receive handouts, recommended readings, and other materials. A portion of the proceeds from this course will go to help fund the DMTx research project, making it a great way to support the research and learn all about the project.

The course is self-paced, spans three weeks, and comprises six hours of material.

About Instructor

Tatayo (“Fruit of the Wind”) first arrived in Gabon in 1971 at the age of 21 and became a Gabonese citizen. In 1979, he became the first white person to be initiated into the Bwiti Fang tradition in Gabon. In 1994, he was initiated into the Misokko tradition. As a guide for numerous expeditions and missions, including those of National Geographic, the BBC, and others, Tatayo is considered to have “opened the door” to westerners in Gabon.
