Course Description
DMTx Psychonaut, led by Daniel McQueen, offers a profound exploration into psychedelic medicines, building on McQueen’s twenty years of experience and professional expertise. As the Executive Director of The Center for Medicinal Mindfulness, McQueen has dedicated his career to understanding and sharing the transformative potential of psychedelic medicines, particularly through his work in Cannabis-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy, Cannabis-Assisted Psychotherapy, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. He combines his professional insights with the practical knowledge he has gained through a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. The DMTx Psychonaut course emerges from this rich background, providing participants with an immersive and comprehensive understanding of psychedelic substances and their therapeutic potential.
Over four weeks, DMTx Psychonaut takes learners through the foundational practices, the medicine path, integration strategies, tracking mechanisms, and the Five Awareness Practice. The third week focuses on the “Light as a Feather” concept, providing unique insights into this vital aspect of the psychedelic experience. The final week wraps up the course with a comprehensive review of timeline, breathwork, TransCannabis, and further discussions on integration. With a focus on real-life application and nuanced understanding, DMTx Psychonaut introduces the world of psychedelic medicines, preparing participants to navigate these experiences with knowledge, skill, and mindfulness.
