In this course, participants will gain an in-depth understanding of MDMA-assisted therapy, its theoretical underpinnings, and its practical applications. The course is divided into three sessions, each focusing on a different aspect of the therapy. The first session covers the fundamentals, including the history, rationale, and empirical status of the therapy. The second session delves into the hands-on aspects, such as preparation, navigation, facilitation, and integration of the altered state to maximize benefits and minimize risks. The third session is a video-based case analysis of the host’s own MDMA-assisted therapy, highlighting core elements of the treatment modality and its impact on professional development.

Throughout the course, participants will learn from the host’s extensive experience as a psychedelic researcher, therapist, and educator. The course is designed to be informative and engaging, with a focus on providing evidence-based knowledge and practical insights. About Instructor

Tatayo (“Fruit of the Wind”) first arrived in Gabon in 1971 at the age of 21 and became a Gabonese citizen. In 1979, he became the first white person to be initiated into the Bwiti Fang tradition in Gabon. In 1994, he was initiated into the Misokko tradition. As a guide for numerous expeditions and missions, including those of National Geographic, the BBC, and others, Tatayo is considered to have “opened the door” to westerners in Gabon.
