Course Description
Psychedelics for Beginners is a free online course offered by Bonfire, a psychedelic community with an educational foundation. Starting on May 1st, the course aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment for individuals beginning their journey with plant medicine and psychedelics.
This 30-day course is divided into four modules covering different aspects of the psychedelic experience. Module 1, Mindset, designed by Tim Sinnett, focuses on aligning one's values and goals before embarking on a psychedelic journey. Module 2, Compounds, created by Troy McFadden, delves into the various psychedelic substances and helps participants choose the right one for their journey. Module 3, Preparation, designed by Fola Veritas, discusses the importance of proper preparation and setting intentions for the experience. Finally, Module 4, Integration, also created by Troy McFadden, teaches participants how to integrate their experiences into their daily lives for lasting, positive change.
Each module includes video content, live group sessions with facilitators, downloadable PDFs, and review questionnaires to reinforce learning. Participants can also access the online community chat room to connect with others, ask questions, and share insights. The course is not intended for real-time journeying. Still, it serves as a comprehensive overview of what to expect and how to maximize outcomes when deciding to embark on a psychedelic experience.
