Course Description

The Changa Institute offers the Oregon Psilocybin Facilitation Training Program, a comprehensive training program that provides students with the skills and knowledge to become Licensed Psilocybin Service Facilitators. Approved by the Oregon Health Authority and licensed by Oregon's Higher Education Coordinating Commission, the program is designed to meet and surpass minimum state requirements, which include 120 hours of 'core training' and 40 hours of supervised 'practicum'.

The program is taught by a team of seasoned practitioners and guest speakers who bring in domain-specific expertise. The program is offered in two tracks: Standard (Two 2-hour Zoom meetings/week for 6 months) and Accelerated (Three 2-hour Zoom meetings/week + two 2-hour Zoom meetings/month for 3 months). Both tracks require in-person training, which will take place on the program's final Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The program is designed to nurture a safe space for psilocybin therapy and equip practitioners with facilitation skills to cultivate controlled, therapeutic experiences that deliver lasting mental health benefits. Eligibility for the program is determined through a rigorous interviewing, vetting and selection process.
