Course Description

The DOSED Education Center offers a comprehensive, self-paced online course designed to provide in-depth knowledge on psychedelics and mental health. The programme comprises four cinematic modules, featuring 65 lessons, supplementary materials, and quizzes, totalling approximately 40 hours of content. Participants gain access to award-winning documentaries ‘DOSED’ and ‘DOSED: The Trip of a Lifetime’, along with bonus feature videos, enhancing the learning experience.

Each module is led by experts in the field: Dennis McKenna explores 18 psychedelics, their effects, benefits, and risks; Mark Haden provides a detailed walkthrough on conducting psychedelic sessions; Trina Nguyen delves into harm reduction strategies for DMT and 5-MeO-DMT; and Dana Larsen offers a masterclass on microdosing, including preparation methods and considerations when combined with antidepressants. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate from the McKenna Academy, acknowledging their comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.

About Instructor

Tatayo (“Fruit of the Wind”) first arrived in Gabon in 1971 at the age of 21 and became a Gabonese citizen. In 1979, he became the first white person to be initiated into the Bwiti Fang tradition in Gabon. In 1994, he was initiated into the Misokko tradition. As a guide for numerous expeditions and missions, including those of National Geographic, the BBC, and others, Tatayo is considered to have “opened the door” to westerners in Gabon.
